sachavonkarl74 Absolutely undiscovered precious gem that needs to be shared because sharing is caring! Fantastic EP, modern black metal with grandiose melodies, powerful and enthralling but storming with blazing ferocity, all fans of Uada and Mgla will love this German band too !!! Favorite track: Opium To Insidious Slumber II.

There is no perfection Each and every creation is flawed We enshrine the essence of life Call every birth a wonder, each day a blessing... But there is no wisdom in hedonism Only palliation And there is no truth in values As there is no truth in redemption Whatever is the fuel, which keeps this machine working It is time to parch the source Wherever is the construction, which holds the curtain It is time to cut the ropes Sometimes I wonder, Have I been written into a play? Am I an extra, watching from the distance I'm not Ulysses for sure... All the promises of improvement All the lies of comprehension Unmasked as the empty shells they are Uttered in a vacuum I almost envy those, who can still be enraged Since they can direct and focus their detestation While I only reload and aim At my own head, at my own heart This self-loathing path of demise This never ending circle of violent thoughts This void which cripples me into rigidity Is my opium to insidious slumber Whatever is the fuel, which keeps this machine working It is time to parch the source Wherever is the construction, which holds the curtain It is time to cut the ropes As if I'd ever be in peace with myself As if this blaze of hatred would suddenly smother As if my mind would be cleared of all the pictures I kept As if I'd just need second sight for purpose to uncover

You want to conquer Khawa Karpo, tripping over pebbles You aim to cross Queimada Grande, getting entangled in thickets Explore the cradle of humanity, in the shadow of Erta Ale Climb Borobudur's steps and find nothing but the filth of tourists There is a lack of something really profound You feel the absence like a missing limb Alas, there is nothing touching a man's core As deeply as the poison he ravens by choice Nothing changed since the days of yore Desperately imprint the silt with our marks Inherent the longing for transience To fill the void in our hearts To all the wanderers out there There is no home to return to There is no path to follow From the craters of Chimborazo to the depth of Marianas Trench As if apathy was more than a shield For a long-corroded shell And if you claim to see ghosts Then what might those spectres see in you? Will they take you for one of them? Minor inconveniences withhold our aspirations Obligations are such excellent excuses Concomitants seem to define us Stick to the default performance Towards bleak insignificance There is something mesmerizing About a pack of rats storming the darkness As if they followed Ariadne's thread ...will they take you for one of them? Nothing changed since the days of yore Desperately imprint the silt with our marks Inherent the longing for transience To fill the void in our hearts To all the wanderers out there There is no home to return to There is no path to follow From the craters of Chimborazo to the depth of Marianas Trench As if apathy was more than a shield For a long-corroded shell And if you claim to see ghosts Then what might those spectres see in you? Will they take you for one of them?
